IFC’s mission is to build a profitable business providing healthy, nutritious products to it’s customers, while providing fair value to it’s suppliers.

The Berries History
The Saskatoon berry, “service berry” or “June berry” is a product of a fruit bearing shrub native to North America. Indigenous to Alaska and found all across most of western Canada. It can also be found throughout western and northern
parts of the United States.
Sweet in taste, the fruits have long since been eaten by Canada's Aboriginal people as pemmican, a preparation of dried meat to which Saskatoon berries are added as flavor and preservative. They are also often used in pies, jams, wines, cider and beers.
Saskatoon's can be considered as one-kind of ‘Superfruit’.The word ‘Superfruit’ refers to fruit which contains high sources of antioxidants. From a nutraceutical perspective, antioxidant rich fruits have anti-cancer and anti-aging effects on the body as well as provide cardiovascular benefits that are well documented in medical literature. In fact, antioxidants are major contributors in the fight against cardiovascular and inflammatory diseases and act as a protective guard to our immune system!

Antioxidant's (How They Work)
Most have heard the term “antioxidant” however few are aware of how antioxidants work and how they are beneficial to our body's well-being. An antioxidant is a molecule capable of slowing or preventing the oxidation of other molecules. Oxidation is a chemical reaction that transfers electrons from a substance to an oxidizing agent. Oxidation reactions can produce free radicals. An accumulation of free radicals in the body create rich grounds by which disease can prosper. The result, a chain reaction occurs damaging one healthy cell after another until sickness prevails. Antioxidants terminate these chain reactions by removing free radical intermediates and prevent further oxidation reactions from occurring.
